If you are still thinking whether what to bring for your upcoming camping trip, I suggest that you take note of the following items that you might just need to bring with you. For the beddings and shelter essentials, you might want to make sure that you have packed in your tent, tarp, headrest, sleeping pad and sleeping bag.
If in case you still have some additional room for more items, you can still slip in some extra items such books, cot, pillow, comforter and throw rug just to make your camping trip a bit more comfortable.
As for your cooking and dining essentials, you might want to make certain that water, food, charcoal, cooler, camp stove, can opener and mess kit are all packed in.
If you happen to still have some more room more extras, you may throw in some charcoal chimney, smoker, Dutch oven, hot dog sticks and pie irons You may also bring some folding chairs, folding table, table cloth, butane lighter, screen room, chuck box.
Much like me, a lot of campers can never go on a camping trip without bringing some chuck box items.
With that, make sure to pack in salt and pepper, herbs and spices, cooking oil, pot holders, paper towels, napkins and plastic trash bags. If you have more room, bring tongs and spatula, aluminum foil, measuring cups, plastic silverware, paper plates, bowls, plastic cups, zip lock bags, knives, cutting board and cork screw.
And just like any other camping trip, you can never go without bringing along your ever dependable first aid kit with you. Make sure it has your personal medication, bandages, aspirin, Tylenol, medical tape, sterile gauze, elastic wrap and antibiotic wipes.
In addition to that, make sure it also has an antiseptic cream, burn ointment, sunburn lotion, hydrogen peroxide, scissors, tweezers, eye wash, sanitary napkins and a snake bite kit.
As for your personal hygiene kit, you want to make sure that you have safely packed in your tooth brush, tooth paste, wash rag, towel, soap, comb, brush, nail clippers, razor and toilet paper. If in case you forget any of it, make sure that your friend who will be coming with you will not.
It is also fairly critical to make sure that your camping site will stay as clean as it was when you got there when you leave. You need to bring some cleaning materials such as a broom, dust pan, whisk broom, lawn rake, dish pan, detergent, dish rags and a pot scrubber.
Of course, do not forget to bring your clothes with you. It is necessary that you bring protective clothes and at the same time, make sure they are comfortable. Pack in your t-shirts, shorts, jeans, pants, socks, shoes/boots, camp shoes, hat, cap, sweater, rain poncho, underwear, swim suit and a laundry bag enough for the camping trip.
If you have even more room to pack in a little extra stuff, you may want to bring your binoculars, bird guide, bug spray and camera. Bringing candles, cards, games, cell phone, clothes pins, compass, duct tape, fishing gear, flashlight and a frisbee would also do the trick.
